Homeopathy is a complete system of medicine which aims to promote general health by reinforcing the natural healing capacity of the body within safe parameters. Homeopathy does not have treatments for disease, but rather it has remedies for people with disease.

Conventional medicine is known to homeopaths as allopathic medicine. Allopathic treatment describes the use of drugs that are different from the symptoms and therefore work against the disease, eg anti-biotics, anti-depressants, anti-inflammatory.

Homeopathy means 'similar to the disease symptoms'. The remedies, used to treat illnesses, are capable of producing similar symptoms in a healthy person to those already present in the patient who requires the remedy.

Homeopathic remedies are very dilute in their preparation, but it is the complex preparation and dilution of the substances that enables them to work at an energy level rather than on the level of matter, which is often described as vibrational therapy.

Because no two individuals manifest their illnesses in exactly the same way, even given the same diagnosis, it is only when a substance is matched with a patient according to the Law of Similars that it becomes homeopathic. This system of medicine was first developed in 1790 by a German physician called Samuel Hahnrehan, who cured an entire village of cholera using homeopathy.

Evaluation of Symptoms -The homeopathic practitioner selects an appropriate remedy through evaluation of the symptom picture, and will select the strength and dosage according to the intensity of the illness.Homeopathic remedies are made up as either tiny pilules or as drops. The usual dosage is either five drops or two pilules taken two or three times a day. It is important for patients to refrain from handling the remedies; pilules should be tipped into the lid and then into the mouth. It is preferable for the remedy to remain in the mouth, preferably under the tongue, for a minute, and timing should ensure the remedy is taken at least twenty minutes before, or twenty minutes after food, drinks or the cleaning of teeth.

In more recent times, homeopathy has evolved to include more than one remedy (a polychrest).  Dr Rechewege, a German homeopath and physician, developed a range of polychrests that are still used bearing his name.  Heel products, also from Germany, are now used internationally by trained naturopaths, veterinarians, and doctors for a range of symptoms and sterile ampouls of the polychrests are commonly administered parenterally for sports injuries as well as various conditions diagnosed through a system of Homotoxicology.  More information on page Biomesotherapy

Similar principles form the basis of conventional allergy treatment, where the allergic substance is given to the patient in a small dose, and in vaccines where an impotent form of the virus is given to bolster the immune system against that particular virus.

Homeopathy is extremely effective and when the correct remedy is taken, results can be rapid, complete, and permanent. It is also safe and even babies and pregnant women can use the remedies without the danger of side effects. Homeopathic remedies can be taken alongside other medication without producing unwanted side effects.

Homeopathic remedies, normally based on natural ingredients, work in harmony with the immune system, unlike some conventional medicines that suppress the immune system. (For example, cough medicines suppress the cough reflex, your body's method of clearing the lungs). These remedies are not addictive and once symptoms go, remedy is ceased. If no relief is felt, the patient is probably taking the wrong homeopathic remedy.  However, if there is an aggravation of symptoms during first 24 hrs of medicating, this is a sign that the body is reacting to the remedy.  During this period more frequent dosages must be taken until the system has "measured" the the "toxin" and the immune response is retracted.  It is the retracted response stage that is required to restore the body's homeostasis.

Homeopathy is holistic. It treats all the symptoms as one, yhat in practical terms means it addresses the cause, not the symptoms. This often means that symptoms tackled with homeopathy do not recur. The Story of the Origins of Flower Essences

Dr Edward Bach studied medicine at the University College Hospital, London, and was a House Surgeon there. He worked in general practice, having a set of consulting rooms in Harley Street, and as a bacteriologist and later a pathologist he worked on vaccines and a set of homoeopathic nosodes still known as the seven Bach nosodes.

Despite the success of his work with orthodox medicine he felt dissatisfied with the way doctors were expected to concentrate on diseases and ignore the people who were suffering them. He was inspired by his work with homoeopathy but wanted to find remedies that would be purer and less reliant on the products of disease. So in 1930 he gave up his lucrative Harley Street practice and left London, determined to devote the rest of his life to the new system of medicine that he was sure could be found in nature.

Just as he had abandoned his old home, office and work, so now he abandoned the scientific methods he had used up until now. Instead he chose to rely on his natural gifts as a healer, and use his intuition to guide him. One by one he found the remedies he wanted, each aimed at a particular mental state or emotion. His life followed a seasonal pattern: the spring and summer spent looking for and preparing the remedies, the winter spent giving help and advice to all who came looking for them. He found that when he treated the personalities and feelings of his patients their unhappiness and physical distress would be alleviated as the natural healing potential in their bodies was unblocked and allowed to work once more.

In 1934 Dr Bach moved to Mount Vernon in Oxfordshire. In the lanes and fields round about he found the remaining remedies that he needed to complete the series. He would suffer the emotional state that he needed to cure and then try various plants and flowers until he found the one single plant that could help him. In this way, through great personal suffering and sacrifice, he completed his life's work.

Dr Bach passed away peacefully on the evening of November 27th, 1936. He was only 50 years old, but he had left behind him several lifetime's experience and effort, and a system of medicine that is now used all over the world.

Australian Bush Flower Essences

Flower Remedies are not new. The Australian Aboriginals have always used flowers to heal the emotions, as did the Ancient Egyptians. There has also been a very long tradition of use of Flower Essences in India, Asia and South America and they were also very popular in Europe in the Middle Ages. Hildegard von Bingen (12th century) and Paracelsus (15th century) both wrote about how they collected dew from flowering plants to treat health imbalances.

This healing method was rediscovered by Dr. Edward Bach sixty years ago through the use of English flowering plants. Today our society and its needs are totally different to that of sixty years ago. There has been a great need for remedies that would help people deal with the issues of the 21st century - sexuality, communication skills and spirituality to name but a few. The answer to this need has come from the Australian plants, developed and researched by Naturopath, Ian White a fifth generation Australian herbalistFlower Remedies are not new. Homotoxicology

Homotoxicology is a unique system of diagnosis and treatment that evolved in Germany by a company called HEEL.  The comany's philosophy of detoxification and drainage of the tissue matrix using a range of low dose homeopathic remedies that impact on the body's immune system is internationally recognised as evidence-based medicine.  Pictures below illustrate the 5 stages of the immunological bystander reaction within ths cell matrix.

Preliminary toxicology reports on Michael Jackson's body show the singer took a cocktail of drugs strong enough to kill a normal person instantly.

Lethal levels of the powerful painkiller Demerol and heroin substitute methadone were found in Jackson's blood, UK's The Sun newspaper reports.

Jackson took large quantities of the drugs for so long that his body became tolerant to huge doses — until he collapsed of a cardiac arrest last Friday Australian time.

“Michael Jackson was a walking drug store when he died, he never stood a chance,” the newspaper quoted a source close to the case as saying.

In addition to the Demorol and methadone, Jackson was found to have therapeutic levels of Fentanyl — a drug 100 times more potent than morphine — Valium, a sleeping drug called Ambien and the painkiller Vicodin in his system.

He was also taking high doses of the anti-depressant drug Zanax, the hospital anaesthetic Propofol and post-surgery painkiller Dilaudid.

Meanwhile celebrity gossip website TMZ, which broke the news of Jackson's death, has published a litany of evidence detailing the star's drug use.

The website quoted law enforcement officials, who said Jackson had needle marks all over his body, including around his neck.

Some of the needle marks were fresh, while others were many days old, the website said.

It also quoted a police report from 2004 in which Jackson's former bodyguard, Chris Carter, said the singer was addicted to Xanax and was taking more than 10 pills a night.

Carter also reportedly told police that Jackson had been obtaining drugs from a variety of doctors using aliases, including the names of his own employees.

WHAT A WASTE OF GREAT TALENT and PERSONA
